Dhananjay • 12/19/2011
Question

If i don't waste my semen for some long time, Say for some years or months....like, after 1 year....I mean, if im not having sex or masturbation for last 1 year and then i go for it, it owuld be more harmful? Would i lost my semen's huge part?
I think my question is not so clear....because its not so clear in my mind as well... :( i wish you would get me....

And one more thing, if i dont have sex phsically but i think about it...then it is any harm to my semen?
thnks

Answer

1. If abstinence is carried out through Brahmacharya, then the benefits will be complete and total.  For the benefits to be complete, Brahmacharya should be practiced in thought, word and deed with God-devotion a life of Yoga and meditation.

2. Loss of vital fluid once a year or once in a few months is less debilitating than regular and more frequent loss.

3. Lesser loss of vitality results from less frequent loss of semen (both voluntary or involuntary)

4. Abstaining from physical sex or masturbation but indulging in sexual thoughts via the mind will eventually lead to loss of semen through masturbation, sex or copious wet dreams as the mind has not been taken off sexual contemplation. The mind is the switch which controls the body and semen.
