Question

Namaste sir
I am struggling to maintain brahmacharya from last 5 to 6 years
As i maintain celibacy after sometime it weakens my concentration and then i broke the vow. how it affects my concentration?
NOW I AM GOING TO GIVE A  COMPETITIVE EXAM
AND IT NEEDS A LOT OF CONCENTRATION SHOULD I MAINTAIN CELIBACY OR NOT WILL IT BE HARMFUL OR ADVANTAGEOUS PLEASE SIR REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS MY EXAM DAYS ARE NEAR

Answer

Brahmacharya, if practiced right increases concentration and not the other way. Unrest and lack of concentration means that the vital force is being stagnated and not transmuted upwards. Go through past answers on Sadhana and perform Asana, Bandha, Nadi Shodhana, Pranayama & meditation as advised, daily without fail. Things will set right once proper Sadhana is implemented. You will have abundant energy to focus on academic study.
