Question

QUESTION: hello sir
during meditation I do not feel my body after some time of starting the meditation, for how much long should I hold this stage.
thank you for your time in advance.

ANSWER: Meditation is to be practiced as long as possible. The longer, the better. One eventually loses all awareness and goes into Samadhi.

QUESTION: thank you sir for answering.
I feel myself above head.
1Is it related to kundalini which stage is this, when to know I am in samadhi.
2how to progress from sabikalpa samadhi to nirbikalpa samadhi.
3will these affect day to day work, job etc in any way.

Answer

1. Practice unbroken Brahmacharya with surrender to the Lord and much meditation. At the right time, the Lord takes the Yogi to Savikalpa Samadhi.

2. How does one know that he fell asleep and slept the whole night? It is known only after one wakes up in the morning . The same is with Samadhi. In Savikalpa Samadhi however, there is an awareness of the pure I-ness or pure Ego (leading to duality). Nothing else exists here. It will be understood only by experience.

3. One becomes better in all fields of life and starts developing 'Vairagya' (detachment) as he progresses in Samadhi.

4. It cannot be explained or understood as to how ones goes into Nirvikalpa Samadhi, for it is not in one's hands but the Lord's. It comes only to that Yogi whose current birth is the last on the Earthly plane. When 'Savikalpa Samadhi' is practiced for many years with complete surrender to the Lord, his blessings alone lead to that state.
