Brahmacharya in a Routine Working Life

Question

Hi Dhananjay,

I am a 31 years working and unmarried man. All these years I have never read or come across any discourse on following a life of Brahmachari. Coming under peer pressure, I have been regularly using masturbation as a way to vent out my pent up tension, sexual urge and anger.
After reading through many of your answers to others' questions in this forum, I have got a clear message that come what may, Celibate-Absistent-Yoga-Brahmacharya life is the real essence in life, I have questions to put up:
1. Can we follow Brahmacharya even after returning home late, or waking up not so early that we usually do.
2. Is it possible to control semen formation, even if we continue eating non-veg?
3. Do we need to strictly follow the yoga of brahmachari exrcises for maintaining the same
4. How can we control excitement at the sight of a beautiful lady?
5. Can it harmful to control sexual urge and

Please do answer these questions as they keep coming to my mind - and are a hindrance to practising Yoga....

1. Brahmacharya is oneย’s default state of the Atman. It can and should be followed at all times, immaterial of work habits.

4. A life of Yoga & Brahmacharya when practiced for many years leads to 'Gnyana' (knowledge of reality), following which dawns 'Vairagya' (dispassion) towards this impermanent and false illusion called woman and world. Go through all past answers on how to achieve the same.

5. Sexual energy cannot be controlled. It should be converted into something higher through transmutation.
