Consumption of herbal supplements
Question
Namaskar Dhananjay,
Although I've read in ur past answers that our body produces whatever it requires on it's own provided we tread on yogic path continuously.I was still confused whether I can consume Patanjali's Chwyanprash( Baba Ramdev's) as a supplement because what concerns me is that besides many other health benefits it is said to provide, it enhances the libido as well, which i belive could be detrimental to my progress. My intended purpose for consumption is just to put good things in my body, which would strenthen my organs.
Also if you could generalize it to other things like multi-vitamins, Whey protein..etc.It would give a complete insight.
Thanks for your selfless service.
Answer
Do not take supplement powders, chyavanaprash, processed whey protein or other external foods which claim to be natural health boosters. Avoid commercially prepared external supplements such as those mentioned above and stick to a balanced and nutritious diet, comprising of home food only.
Include plenty of greens, fruits, dried fruits, dairy and fibre in the diet. That will suffice.
