Answer

1. A detailed description of 'Mahabandha' and 'Mahavedha’ has been dealt with by Swami Sivananda in his book – ‘The science of Pranayama’.

2. Breath held in Kumbhaka works at clearing the Nâdi-s and is not injurious. The Yogi develops much Prana and can sustain with lesser air.

3. The Yogic routine should not be stopped.

4. Donot think much about siddhi-s. They are a waste of time. Those siddhi-s which are destined to the Yogi will come by themselves at the right time if the practice is correct. It is not meaningful to spend time and energy on the same. Descriptions of Astasiddhi-s are available on google search.
