Reducing excesive emotion

Namashkar Dhananjayji,
People say I m too much emotional. I also feel it very often and for this I get pain in my mind while dealing with friends, relatives, family members when there occurs some mismatch specially regarding sensitive issues. People also say if I cannot overcome it I will face failure in everything and be depressed. So please give me some valuable tips so that I can overcome it and can handle those issues quite normally and be happy. Thank you.

Attachment and the resulting emotions are the effect of 'Avidya' (lack of knowledge of the truth). Through Sadhana and life experience, one gradually overcomes the same, following which Gnyana shines forth. Hence one should stick to proper Sadhana and meditate on the self, to overcome issues of the mind.
