Sleepiness

Dhananjay • 4/7/2014
Question

1) Is there any way to conquer sleepiness which can lead to laziness, when sleep is not of very high quality during the initial year or two?

2) How many hours of hard mental work is recommended for a beginner?

3) Is living on family income such as a self sustaining business or even inheritance detrimental? An individual living in this way, with dispassion, can have all the time he wants for trying to dissolve into bliss.

Answer

1. With regular Sadhana, issues concerning sleep resolve by themselves. There is no shortcut.

2. As much as is required to fully utilize the mind and keep it active and bright.

3. One receives the income which is destined by his past & present karma. One should be content with whatever comes through honest effort and focus on merging his mind into the self.
