Question

Hello Dhananjay Sir

Its been two months of my brahmacharya practice, I live alone in a room, and nowadays I feel very lonely, I just keep sitting or sleeping or searching on internet.
Earlier when I used to feel lonely(it was rare though because I was in a P.G), I saw movies and porn, but now I feel its not worth watching.

Q.What constructive activity I should do when I feel lonely, I do not like studying these financial subjects, nor I m able to meditate, but I am interested in reading the Vedas and The Bhagvad Gita, I would have gone for it but people say its difficult to understand without teacher.
Which book should I go for as a beginner?

Thanks

Answer

1. Biography of Milarepa, the realized saint of Tibet: http://www.cosmicharmony.com/Av/Milarepa/Milarepa.htm

2. Yoga Sutra-s of Pathanjali http://www.yogastudies.org/wp-content/uploads/Science_of_Yoga-Taimni.pdf

3. Upanishads http://www.hinduwebsite.com/upalist.asp

Read these materials in the above mentioned order. Do not jump and do not be in a hurry. Read matter is to be thoroughly absorbed and implemented in real life.
