Stories in religious books

QUESTION: there is a long story of war against other groups not only by part the prophet Mohammad (verses of killing Christians and Jews in the Qur'an), but when one look at the Bible, many of the prophets said only one religion was true (The religion of the Jewish) and many called for crusades or wars too. There is the story of Moses and the plagues, Elijah against pagan groups, . Speaking only within the christian tradition, many other in more recent times, did miracles or were called wonder-worker but called for war too. There was war and inquisition even over rites like eucharist or baptism in that dark age called Middle Ages. Saint Anthony of Padua who was canonized called war on the heretics (those who don't follow the strict teachings of the church). Saint Bernard of Clairveaux who was canonized called for the Crusades against the Muslims and heretics. Saint Dominic called for Inquisition against heretics and witches. Francis Xavier requested an Inquisition to be installed in Goa. Even Galilei was close to execution. Padre Pio who was canonized said one time that multiple lives (reincarnation) is a doctrine of Satan an against church teachings, etc. Many popes say the eastern forms of thought-free meditation are dangerous for Christians, etc. So you see, those are the saints.

ANSWER: Instead of pondering over history, realize your self first. That is only of value. All else is a bubble on water.
