Sadhana questions

Question

Dear Mr. Dhananjay,

Thank you for your wonderful service. Words cannot convey my gratitude for the information you are providing.

I have been trying to follow your Sadhana guidelines and have few questions. Could you please clarify them? Please.

1. Can we do bathing after the sadhana or should it have to happen before? (Sorry for this silly question - I live in an old apartment and pipelines make lot of sounds, I am trying to avoid disturbing other tenants).

2. I am following your guidelines on Bandhas. When doing them, I am doing 3 Bandhas X 10 Sequence for each Bandha X 5 Seconds for each sequence. Is it appropriate?

3. After Bandhas and Nadi Sodhana, I have started doing Pranayama as you explained in past posts. I was doing Art Of Living's Sudharshan Kriya in the past. Can I continue to do SK?
If so, should it be done after Pranayama? Please clarify.

Thank you again. God bless you and your family.

With regards,
Gary

Answer

1. One can bathe after completing the Yoga Sadhana.

2. Each of the 3 'Bandha-s' are to be performed 3 times. The duration of 'Kumbhaka' (Holding of breath) for each should be within 3 seconds.

3. It is preferable to hold on to one method of practice.
