The Realms of Afterlife
Question
Good evening Dhananjay. My question for this session is:
"What realms await for those who purposely choose Adharma in the afterlife?"
Some would say that being reborn into this painful existence could be considered a hellish realm, but are there worse realms after dying for one who chooses a life of inflicting pain on others for example?
Or, are they simply reborn and come face to face with their negative karma until it is overcome? Some also say that those souls can also devolve back to the animal kingdom.

All circumstances mentioned by you are said to be possible as regards afterlife concerning the individual soul, based on the karma accrued. Swami Sivananda has dealt with this topic extensively in his book 'What becomes of the soul after death'.
