Celibacy

what are the changes in body that take place once we take the path of celibacy...do we start looking more attractive to opposite sex..Will eyes radiate energy and we look more confident and positive..What is the purpose of god in keeping us in this tuff test of celibacy ?
Answer
The entire body, mind and psyche start to improve and better themselves, leading to their overall rejuvenation through Brahmacharya. This is noticed externally in the form of radiant health represented by luster, strength and a positively charged aura. The person becomes more confident and capable of handling himself and others responsibly.
The purpose behind the layers of ignorance that have wound themselves around the soul due to past karma is to make man realize and unravel his omnipresence, omnipotence and infinite nature which are already within himself and finally reach the state of perfection through self-realization. All this is the 'Leela' or play of the Almighty in this dream called life.
