Question

Hi dhananjay,

I have some questions please can you clarify them.

1.If a wet dream occurs some times we feel as if something is lost and we feel weak and some times we feel a state of calmness and at peace what is the difference that we experience like this even though in both the cases wet dreams occur.

2.I successfully completed my 2 months of brahmacharya and i am getting attracted to girls even though i don't have any lustful thoughts i cant control my eyes now as i was able to control them earlier can you say what is the problem and give some remedy.

3.Today in a paper article i read about a swami who's quote was saying that if you contain anger it will go directly into subconscious mind and it will grow large what is he referring to.

thanking you,
Ganapathi

Answer

1. When a wet dream is the result of sexual impetus (received while being awake or through past actions), it is violent and emotionally disturbing. When there is a release only at the physiologival level, it is accompanied by less or no emotions since the mind does not play a major part.

2. It takes many years of unbroken Brahmacharya whereupon ‘Indriya Nigraha’ (sense restraint) reaches a state where one is not subjected to the need to stare at the opposite sex. Till then, conscious efforts to prevent the same will be necessary.

3. One should first learn not to become angry by reminding onself that this drama called life is unreal. Merely subjugating emotions that have been let to flower will not be of much use.
