Issue while practising abstinence

Sir - Namaste. I am a spiritual aspirant beloging to Grihastha ashrama (householder). I have tried to practise sexual abstinence on a few occassions earlier. The problem starts after about 10 days of abstinence. I begin to feel burning inside my urethra. Temporarily the burning goes away while semen is excreted via urine while passing stool. This continues during my period of abstinence. If I have sexual activity, this burning problem does not occur. I have resumed sexual activity just to suppress this burning problem in those instances. Kindly let me know if others too experience this issue and any remedy for this. OM
