Work and Brahmacharya
Question
(Yes i know i am asking too many questions)
As one is progressing on the path of Brahmacharya, i am wondering about the long terms.
Who knows, maybe i'll live a long life.
And i want to build the neccesary circumstances to sustain the little bit of Brahmacharya and spiritual practise that i do.
For that to become real, i must push on on my studies.
Yes i know the world is all maya and delusion, but i live in Canada a very cold country without possibility of joining a monastery or living like a monk.
My line of study is computer engineering, and eventualy network security and programing.
If God wish it i shall be able to work for myself.
I fear that it may take me away from the path. As i am 21, for the next three years i will have to concentrate on that + Brahmacharya.
Do you believe it's doable?
I will be seeing a yoga master soon also and plan to take initiation from him, and he will ask a 100% commitment.
Can i do both?
In my head it's clear that i can do it.
2 hours in the morning each day for practise during the week and the rest for wordly matters until i am able to go a 100% practise.
Please your opinion, thank you.
( i know there a lot of "I" in my message, i try to not be too egoistic)
And yes i am not the Doer, it's His will alone.
Answer
Do your Sadhana at the prescribed hours, lead a Yogic life with honest Brahmacharya and focus on your line of study/work. All will come out well.
